Delete your ResteGo account

You can delete your ResteGo account and your personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.

Delete from inside the app

Open ResteGo and go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete account and confirm.
For your security you may be asked to sign in again first.

Your account is deleted right away.

Delete by email

If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us at restegoapp@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm your request and complete the deletion.

What is deleted

Your profile — your email address and display name — is permanently removed.
Your sign-in account is permanently removed.

What is kept, and how it's anonymized

The ratings and open/closed reports you contributed are kept, so that restroom scores stay accurate for other travelers. At the moment you delete your account they are de-linked from you: each is re-keyed to a random identifier that carries no name, no email, and no reference to your account. They were already shown to other users without your name, and after deletion nothing connects them back to you.

We never collect photos, and we use no advertising, analytics, or tracking, so there is no other personal data to remove.
